Nycote’s nylon coatings adhere to titanium, stainless steel, aluminum, all other types of metal surfaces in addition to other substrates. It contains a light-weight modified DuPont nylon which promotes resistance to all aircraft fuels, oil, lubricants, phosphate ester hydraulic fluids and water. It also provides excellent high impact, abrasion resistance, flexibility and toughness at temperatures of -70ºF to +300º F (-57ºC to +149ºC).
Nycote products offer an extended shelf life without “gelling,” unlike usual nylon solutions that solidify during storage.
Nycote Dark Blue is used to protect and secure electrical connection installations in all aircraft at the EMBRAER manufacturing site located in São Paulo Brazil.
